If you love flaunting your love for nature in your home decor, heres a drapery fabric that can answer the call. Inspired by the classic toile and chinoiserie motifs, this gorgeous velvet print features illustrative sketches of cranes, larks, and swans. Feel drawn to natures laps instantly. Curtains and roman shades in this navy blue velvet tinged with white, green, and powder blue accents offer a delightful contrast to light-colored walls.

HomeSewn Wisdom:

• Pick a decorative fold style: If your velvet roman blind is intended to fulfill an aesthetic purpose more than a functional one, consider the European relaxed fold style. Its scalloped bottom will give a nod to velvet’s opulence and plush texture.
• Avoid velvet shades in humid/ wet areas: Since velvet is thick and slow to dry, avoid ‘Deep Aqua’ velvet roman blinds in wet zones such as kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms where you want to optimise your window’s capacity to bring in light and air.

The Nitty-Gritty (Made Pretty):

• Our roman shades arrive with all necessary hardware, so you can skip that last-minute store dash.
• We include cord lock anchors for child and pet safety, because style should never come at the cost of safety.
• Screens may lie; swatches dont. So ordering fabric samples before your final purchase is highly recommended.
• Each roman shade at Sewn is handcrafted by skilled artisans from India who pour care, precision and decades of experience into every stitch.
