‘Babylon’ Plaid Velvet Custom Roman Shades (Beige/ Charcoal Gray/ Brown)

Why Were Sew Into ‘Babylon’:

• Its classical tweed plaid pattern where structure and energy entwine with enduring charm
• Its understated beauty, wrought in beige, brown and gray, striking a quiet balance of warmth and refinement
• Its plush velvet nap where folds ripple with depth and pleats undulate with sheen

HomeSewn Wisdom:

• Bring balance to vibrant schemes: Use Babylon check roman shades’ neutral palette of beige and brown to ground a space saturated with vibrant hues. They perform the balancing act that enables bold accents to stand out and make their mark.
• Reconsider the front-slatted fold style: Spare a moment to check whether the front-slatted style is apt for these check roman shades. This is because the front slatted style features raised slatlines on the front, that can compete with the horizontal lines of the pattern, resulting in a slightly busy look. Instead, we recommend the back-slatted and European relaxed styles whose slatless frontage lets the pattern flow without interruption, leaving no chance for a visual chaos.

The Nitty-Gritty (Made Pretty):

• We include cord lock anchors for child and pet safety, because style should never come at the cost of safety.
• Screens may lie; swatches dont. So ordering fabric samples before your final purchase is highly recommended.
